Who we are
Ascend Content LLC, an Ohio limited liability company, runs strategy, production and in-house content teams for founders. On this site, Ascend Content, we and us mean Ascend Content LLC. This policy covers this website and the application path that begins here.

What this site collects
There are no accounts here, no sign-in, no newsletter signup and nothing to buy. The public site does not host the application form or keep an application database. There are three things to describe: the application hosted by iClosed, the analytics that run on every page, and the standard logs any website keeps. Each one has its own section below.
Your application answers
Choosing Apply to work with Ascend opens the application hosted by iClosed, the scheduling service we use. The link may carry campaign and referral tags so we can tell which page or campaign led to the application.
iClosed asks for your phone number, name, email address, preferred way of working with Ascend and current monthly revenue range. It also offers separate, optional choices for pre-call email and text messages, and records the call time, timezone and booking status. iClosed handles the form and calendar under its own privacy policy and terms.
After a call is booked, the site’s secured webhook sends the relevant application and appointment details to Close, our customer relationship manager. If you separately choose pre-call emails, Kit receives the name, email and appointment fields needed for that sequence. If you separately choose text messages, Sendblue receives the name, mobile number and appointment fields needed for booking updates. Agreeing to iClosed’s general data terms does not activate either messaging choice. The webhook does not keep a separate copy in a website database.
Analytics and cookies
This site uses Google Analytics through the Google tag, measurement ID G-6L631P15Z1. It sets cookies in your browser and collects usage information: which pages you view, your device and browser, and an approximate location worked out from your IP address. Google processes that information under its own privacy policy.
We use it to see which pages people read and where they stop, so the site can get better.
The founder video
Ellie’s introduction plays in a Vidalytics player embedded from fast.vidalytics.com. Loading or playing it may set that player’s own cookies and tells the player that the video was viewed. Vidalytics handles what it collects under its own policy.
Hosting logs
This site is hosted on Vercel. Like any host, Vercel keeps standard server logs so the site can be served and kept working, including your IP address, your browser’s user agent and the time of each request. Vercel also runs two measurement tools on this site for us: Web Analytics, which counts page views and visits in aggregate without setting a cookie or storing anything that identifies you, and Speed Insights, which records how quickly pages load in your browser.
How we use your information
Your application and appointment details are used to assess fit, prepare for the call and confirm or update it. Pre-call marketing emails and appointment text messages are sent only through the channel you separately choose. Analytics is used to understand how people move through the site. The companies that receive information through this process are named next.
Who receives your information
- iClosed, our application and scheduling service. It receives the contact, application and messaging-choice fields, appointment details and campaign or referral tags described above.
- Close, our customer relationship manager. It receives the application and appointment details needed to create or update the lead, choose the relevant pipeline and assign follow-up.
- Kit, our pre-call email service. If you choose pre-call emails, it receives your name, email address, appointment details and booking status so the approved sequence can start, stop or change with the appointment.
- Sendblue, our appointment text-message service. If you choose text messages, it receives your name, mobile number and appointment details so it can send booking, reschedule and cancellation updates.
- Google, through the Google tag, for the analytics described above.
- Vidalytics, the video player, when the founder video loads or plays.
- Vercel, our host, through its server logs and its Web Analytics and Speed Insights measurements.
That is the whole list. This site loads no advertising pixel. Beyond the Google tag and Vercel’s two measurement tools, nothing on the public pages watches what you do.
How long it is kept
The public site has no application database. The secured webhook processes a booking, sends the application record to Close and, when the matching choice was made, routes messaging details to Kit or Sendblue. It does not keep a separate website record.
What the companies above keep, and for how long, is set by their own policies and our account settings with them. If you want to know what we hold after an application or ask us to remove it, write to info@ascendcontent.io.
Your choices
You never have to fill out the iClosed application. If you would rather write to a person, info@ascendcontent.io reaches us.
You can unsubscribe from a marketing email using the link in that message. You can stop text messages by replying STOP. You can also write to us to withdraw either choice. Withdrawing a messaging choice does not affect your application or ability to book a call.
You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings, and you can use a browser or an extension that blocks analytics. Nothing on this site stops working if you do. If you want to ask what information we hold after you have contacted us, or ask us to remove it, write to the same address.
Children
This site is not directed at anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us their details, write to info@ascendcontent.io.
Changes to this policy
If what this site does with information changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top moves. The version you are reading is the current one.
